| I tried the
evaluation version of Twinkle Bulbs but now I want to remove it from
my computer |
Go to the Control Panel and select the Add/Remove Programs icon.
When you see the list of installed programs, select Twinkle Bulbs to
uninstall. Please visit this page
for detailed uninstall instructions. |
|
| When I
attempt to uninstall, I get a message - cannot file INSTALL.LOG.
How do I remove this from my computer? |
It is possible that a previous uninstall failed or your system needs
to be rebooted. Try rebooting your computer and then
uninstalling. If you receive this message again, you will have
to manually remove Twinkle Bulbs from your computer by deleting the
installation folder (default: \Program Files\Twinkle Bulbs). |

|
Twinkle Bulbs does not run on my computer. It used to run
without any problems - what happened? |
Do you have an older version of Twinkle Bulbs? Have you recently
upgraded your computer or Windows operating system? You may need
to get an update for Twinkle Bulbs to have it work correctly. As
versions of Windows change, we continually update Twinkle Bulbs so it
will work in the new versions of Windows. |
|
|
I cannot configure the settings. How do I get to the program
configuration settings? When
Twinkle Bulbs is running, I try to open the TBulbs.exe file, but get a
message stating that Twinkle Bulbs is already running. How do I
configure the program settings? |
Double-click the small bulb icon in your system tray (next to the
clock) on your task bar. This will bring up the Twinkle Bulbs
configuration settings and allow you to make changes. |
|
|
If changes are made to the configuration settings, they are not saved,
even when the OK or Apply buttons are pressed. |
It is possible that you have multiple versions of Twinkle Bulbs
running on your computer, which can cause conflicts like these.
We recommend uninstalling all versions of Twinkle Bulbs and rebooting
your system. After you do this and verify that all versions of
Twinkle Bulbs have been removed, you may re-install Twinkle Bulbs and
all should work okay. |

Bulbs |

Issue |
Resolution |
|
In the download version Twinkle Bulbs there are only 25 bulb
sets. Where are the other bulb sets? |
All of the bulb sets are available on the CD-ROM
version of Twinkle Bulbs. If you want to get all of the bulb
sets, screen saver modules, desktop wallpaper images and music files,
you should purchase the Twinkle Bulbs
CD-ROM. |
|
|
When trying to select a different bulb set, checking the bulbs does
not select them. How can the bulb set be changed? |
Selecting the checkbox next to a bulb set enables that bulb set to be
included in the randomizer. To select a bulb set for use,
highlight it in the light so that it is selected. Then click OK
to accept your changes and the new bulb set will be changed. |

Screen Saver |

|
The screen saver comes on but exits almost immediately, making the
screen saver useless. |
Turn off the flashing keyboard lights option in the screen saver
settings. On some systems, flashing the keyboard lights triggers
a key press event which in turn dismisses the screen saver. |
